Located in the heart of the Belledonne mountain range, Les 7 Laux ski resort can be divided into three separate areas:

  • the eastern section, Le Pleynet (1,450 m), a large mountain resort overlooking a valley surrounded by the sculpted peaks of Belle Étoile and Cabottes.
  • the western section, Prapoutel (1,350 m), the ski area's central hub, where you can find all urban amenities
  • Pipay (1,550 m), a well-preserved village surrounded by nature, overlooking the Grésivaudan Valley.However, the journey between Prapoutel and Le Pleynet (via Allevard) takes about an hour.

Worth knowing

If you want to go cross-country skiing at Les 7 Laux, there are three different areas:

  • 8 km of trails at Le Pleynet (1,950 m), accessible via the Pincerie chairlift.
  • 50 km of classic and skating cross-country trails are available in the northern part of Barioz (access via Col du Barioz).
  • 16 km of trails at Prapoutel (from 1,350 to 1,500 m): a small but charming area that challenges those just beginning their journey in the world of skiing.

For the “Nu-Skool” generation, Les 7 Laux is a must-visit resort thanks to its renowned HO5 snowpark, which is constantly changing to keep up with evolving trends and progression in skiing and snowboarding. It is also easily accessible via a dedicated lift.

As for the lifts, a notable feature of Les 7 Laux is that they have been almost completely renovated over the past few years. As a result, 90% of the resort's lifts have been upgraded and modernized.
