Paljakka

Paljakka Ski Resort is in Kainuu (Finland, Eastern Finland (Pohjois-Suomi)). It has 8.7 km of pistes for skiing and snowboarding. Six lifts are also available to transport guests.

Paljakka is located in the centre of the town, near Kainuu. Skiers at Paljakka rate the condition and profile of the slopes highly, as well as the fact that alpine skiing is possible during the peak season without heavy queues. The western slopes are the snowiest in Finland and guarantee good snow conditions, while the off-piste areas in this region offer different options. Food and drinks for skiers are available at Rinner Restaurant Paljakka and at Paljakka Hotel, located near the slopes. Paljak Hotel's restaurant is easily reached via a connecting staircase. During the season, Huippu Café also serves skiers at the top of the slopes.
