What visitors say about the resort

The praise is for price: the day pass is among the cheapest around, and many families have been coming back for decades. Queues barely exist, with waits rarely longer than a couple of minutes. There are runs at every level including very gentle beginner terrain, and after a good dump snowboarders report excellent off-piste beside the pistes. Staff are friendly, and the village has enough going on after skiing, down to a cinema.

Low altitude is the standard complaint: snow does not hold for long, and in mild winters that shows immediately. The lifts are dated, with far more drags than chairs, and reviewers keep asking for some to be replaced. Grooming draws regular criticism, with pistes left rough and neglected. The runs are on the short side and evening life is limited. The verdict is consistent: a cheap family weekend rather than a serious week of skiing.
