Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort is located in the highest mountain range in Czechia, the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše). It is one of the best-known and most popular winter sports resorts in Czechia. The small town of Špindlerův Mlýn lies at the centre of the ski resort. The linked areas of Labská, Bedřichov and Svatý Petr are situated around the slopes above the small town on the Elbe. Lifts provide access to the slopes on both sides of the river valley. Above the summit of Medvedina at 1235 m, the highest point of the ski resort accessible by lift, the village of Horní Mísečky is also connected by pistes and lifts. The varied choice of pistes is complemented by cross-country trails, a racetrack and a snowpark. Špindlerův Mlýn winter sports resort is also known for its cross-country skiing trails. Numerous cross-country trails continuously cross the ski slopes.

Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort has pistes of all difficulty levels. Most slopes lead down to the valleys through forest clearings. For a low-mountain area, the slopes are generally very long and attractive. The pistes are divided between the individual ski areas: Horní Mísečky / Medvedina, Svatý Petr / Hromovka, Bedřichov, Labská and Sto. The slopes are generally very wide and offer scenic views of the Giant Mountains. The slopes are not all fully connected, so you need to take a ski bus to travel from one side to the other. In the future, there are plans to fully connect the slopes using lifts and new pistes.

Most of the slopes at Špindlerův Mlýn ski resort can be reached by high-speed 4-seater chairlifts. A modern 6-seater chairlift with heated seats and protective covers provides access to the slopes at Plaon. Guests can also use a 3-seater chairlift and a 2-seater chairlift, as well as T-bar and platter lifts. There are several magic carpets for children.
