Ski resorts in Giant Mountains (Krkonoše)
Krkonoše, or the Giant Mountains, lie on the border between Czechia and Poland and remain the highest range in both countries outside the Alps and Tatras. Sněžka rises to 1603 m, while the upper slopes are already open tundra.
The main resort on the Czech side is Špindlerův Mlýn, with two mountains on opposite sides of the valley. Černá Hora operates nearby, while on the Polish side, skiing is available in Szklarska Poręba.
