Čelimbaša

Čelimbaša ski resort is located right in the centre of Mrkopalj. It is a fairly old but well-maintained ski resort with the greatest potential in Gorski Kotar. The overall atmosphere at Čelimbaša has a special charm, especially in winter, when everything is covered in snow.

The ski resort has three pistes - Tourist Trail (1350 m), Sunny Trail (1000 m) and Vlaic Run (500 m), so both experienced skiers and beginners can find something to suit them.

The ski resort also offers children the chance to enjoy snowy adventures, with a children's lift prepared for them. After a full day on the slopes, you can relax in an excellent restaurant serving hot and cold drinks and delicious food.

Those wishing to spend their holiday here are recommended to stay at the Skiashki dom hostel. The hostel has a restaurant, a small seminar room and the Franjo Starcevich Library. Behind the hotel there is a large sledding area that is sure to delight all the children!
