1 / 9Dragobrat ski resort is in Zakarpattia Oblast (Ukraine), with 10 km of slopes, elevations of 1,400 - 1,703 m and a rating of 2.6 out of 5.
Trail information
Dragobrat is the highest resort in Ukraine, located in the most spectacular part of the Carpathian Mountains, with magnificent views of Hoverla, Ukraine's highest mountain, at 2,061 m. Skiing here extends above the tree line to the summit of Stig (1,703 m), with plenty of adventure and off-piste options. Dragobrat has a very long season, lasting until early May.
Here you will find excellent snow conditions and a reasonably good level of service. High peaks such as Stig and Blyznytsia remain covered in snow until early May. This is an ideal place to experience untouched nature and the wild Carpathian spirit. You can easily discover the culture of the Ukrainian highlanders, try traditional cuisine and buy authentic souvenirs.
When spring arrives, the resort transforms into a colourful mountain resort. You can ski among the early spring flowers and admire stunning views of the Carpathian Mountains. Since skiing is available here until May, in spring you can ski in just a T-shirt!
However, note that reaching the resort is quite difficult, as it is the highest resort in Ukraine. You must take local transport from the village of Yasinia, the nearest village to the resort, and travel almost 15 km along a rough, bumpy road to the resort.
