Krasiya is located near the Slovak and Polish borders in northwestern Ukraine. This means you can ski through deciduous trees rather than the coniferous forests found at other Ukrainian resorts. Krasiya has several advantages, including a reasonably compact lift system, long pistes of up to 3.5 km, and its remote location, which means it is generally not crowded with tourists and lift queues are minimal. On the other hand, the winter season is slightly milder and shorter than at resorts in the east, so there is less snow.
