Krasiya lies by the village of Vyshka in Transcarpathia, not far from the Slovak border, and is the westernmost ski area in Ukraine. There are three lifts, the main one a long chair to the summit, giving 545 metres of vertical. Two thirds of the kilometres are intermediate, and the runs drop through beech forest. There is no snowmaking, and the area depends entirely on how the winter turns out.

What visitors say about the resort
The praise is for space and affordability. The main run down Krasiya is the longest in Ukraine and is described as unhurried and enjoyable. There are no crowds and no queues, and the chairlift keeps moving freely. Prices are called fair, the terrain suits beginners and reasonably confident skiers alike, instructors are praised for their attentiveness and the management for how guests are looked after. The season is long, running from December through April. Vyshka offers everything from complexes with a pool and a sauna to rooms in village houses.
Remoteness is the main complaint: getting here from Kyiv takes seventeen to twenty hours depending on transport and weather. Strong skiers find the place cramped quickly, as there simply is not enough variety and the whole area can be covered in a day.
